Friday evening, after picking up some mackerel and a pound of worm I was back off to Seaview in search of those Bass.
Had trouble finding a parking space so had to park a fair distance after walkin down to the beach and setting up realised I'd left the bait in the van. So after walking back to collect it, I cast out just gone 7pm, just as the 1st spots of rain started, it cotinued for 3hours,heavy, soaked and with only a schoolie to show for my efforts, I decided to move to Cowes in search of a few species for the list.
1st I tried Gurnard, then Egypt light and finally the beach, by 4pm and with it still raining I called it a night, 3 schoolies my reward, this being the biggest of a pound.
