After the previous nights success, I was back down the beach just gone 4pm, spent an hour digging some fresh Lugworm and was set up just before 6pm. Same tactics, 2 hook flappers with strong 2/0 hooks and Ragworm and Lugworm as bait.
After a couple of little rattles during the light, darkness finally arrived and I was ready for a hectic few hours.
But conditions were different, it was clear skies and the moon was bloody bright.
Finally around 9pm I got the typical pull round and a Bass was on, going just over the pound.
A short while later another bite this time it felt better and sure enough on the scales went 3lb 7oz.
Bites were very slow coming but I did manage another Bass of 2lb on the nose after, so that was another 3 bass for the evening.
Well by 11pm the tide was starting to ebb and the few bites I were gettng had stopped so I called it a night.
