2nd February, River Medina

With worm left over from Friday's futile effort, and a day off work, I headed off up the River Medina in search of a Flounder or 3.
Arrived for 10pm, bait was Ragworm on size 2 two hook flappers, with plenty of beads as added attaction, looking like a christmas tree.
One rod was cast short hoping to pick up the Flounder as they followed the tide in over the mud flats, and the other was at distance into the main channel for any that couldn't be arsed to move.
This is a good venue for Flounder, having had many there in past years with several over 2lb, so I was confident of a few fish.
After 5 hours I'd had enough, the rain was getting heavy and I hadn't even had a nibble.
So another Blank to add to my growing collection for this year.
Still! I've got some Ragworm left and have one more venue in mind, so will be out again in the next day or two for another bash.
