Tuesday 8th after the stormy weather of late and the milder weather was hoping that the fish might be in early so was set up by 7pm.
First bite came at 12.50am followed by another 50 minutes later, both were small rattles and came to nothing. 3am I called it a night reeled in to find another blank saving scorpion fish.
Saturday 12th tried a different venue, arrived for 6.30pm to find a big surf despite no wind, but decided to fish it. Sandeel on one rod the other a scratching rig, fished till midnight for 2 small Pout and a school Bass.
Oh well, no blanks and things can only get better.
