Brook

This is a shallow, rocky beach stretching for about a mile eastwards from Hanover point.A look here at low tide reveals a series of ledges and gullies worn out of the hard bedrock and rocks can be seen extending out to sea for over a mile.
Fishing is best from about half flood up to high water and for about the first hour of the ebb.Good fish can be taken anywhere and many specimen Bass and conger have been landed from this stretch.Pout, silver eels and rockling are usually plentiful while the occasional ray and cod are taken.Thismark fishes best for conger on a calm still night when there is no moon, use fresh pouting, squid or cuttlefish.
Strong tackle is recommended to cope with the rough ground and weed, which can be a nuisance during the summer, especially when conditions are rough. If fishing the eastern end of the bay beware of being cut-off by high spring tides or rough seas.
