Well unable to get out because of the snow, finally it had gone,so friday off we went in search of Bass to seaview, usually there's plenty of small Bass here to keep us busy with the occasional better fish.
We were set up by 6pm, Pulley rig with whole Squid on 1 rod and a 2 hook flapper with Rag on the other.
By 10pm we'd manged one Flounder of 1lb 14os, so decided to go back to East-Cowes as its alive with schoolies, pout and a chance of flounder and at least we'd get bites.
Arrived just gone 10pm and started off at the paddling pool, after an hour with lots of weed and no bites we moved to inside the harbour by midnight still no bites so we called it a night.
I can only think that the snow and cold weather has sent the fish out to deeper water, as never known it this bad for bites.
Will try the Duver on Tuesday in search of a flounder.
