Very similar to Brook, but more rocky, which can result in heavy tackle losses. The beach is shallow and the tide recedes a long way uncovering deep gullies and rock pools.A good beach for conger, bass, pouting and rockling with cod also taken in some seasons.A short walk west from here will bring you to Sudmore,a good mark for stingray when conditions are right.Choose a calm, warm evening and a flooding tide.Stingray will readily take a large fillet of mackerel or a good bunch of ragworm.
Pouting and Occasional smoothound can also be taken here. The rocks at the western end of sudmore is a good spot to try for conger and bass.Fish here on the flood tide, but beware of being cut off.
